Service Terms and Conditions

Effective September 5, 2026 · Version 2026-09-05

1. ACCEPTANCE AND AUTHORITY

These Terms are part of every estimate, work order, service visit, and invoice. The person requesting or approving service represents that they are the RV owner or are authorized to act for the owner. By signing or electronically accepting an estimate or work order, replying "approved" or similar words by text or email, paying a deposit, scheduling service after receiving these Terms, or permitting work to begin after receiving these Terms, Customer accepts them. The named Customer and any person who personally authorizes service are responsible for authorized charges to the extent permitted by law.

2. AUTHORIZED CHARGES AND DIAGNOSTIC WORK

Customer agrees to pay all authorized call-out/service-call fees, diagnostic time, mileage/travel, labor, parts, materials, supplies, consumables, shipping, special-order costs, after-hours/emergency fees, taxes, and other charges stated in an estimate, work order, invoice, rate schedule, or approved communication. After-hours service begins at 5:00 p.m. local time. Weekend emergency service means emergency service requested for Saturday or Sunday. When both conditions apply, both charges may apply. Holiday service is charged at the maximum special-timing rate regardless of the hour or day and replaces, rather than adds to, other special-timing charges. Applicable amounts will be confirmed before dispatch or stated in an approved rate schedule, payment request, estimate, work order, invoice, or communication. Service-call, diagnostic, travel, and labor charges are earned when incurred and remain due even if no repair is performed, the requested repair cannot be completed, a problem recurs, or another condition prevents operation. RV systems are interconnected; one failure may conceal another. Diagnoses and estimates rely on reported symptoms and reasonably accessible conditions. Disassembly, testing, or initial repairs may reveal hidden damage, additional failures, prior improper work, unsafe conditions, obsolete parts, or a larger scope. Happy Camper RV Repair does not guarantee that every condition will be identified during one visit.

3. ESTIMATES, CHANGES, AND SCHEDULING

Unless stated otherwise, estimates are valid for seven days and are not guaranteed final totals. Parts prices, freight, taxes, availability, concealed conditions, and approved scope changes may affect price and timing. Material additional work will be submitted for approval when reasonably practicable. Approval by text, email, telephone, electronic acceptance, signature, payment, or instruction to proceed authorizes the described work and charges. Customer-requested additions and approvals during the job become part of the same service agreement. A not-to-exceed price applies only when expressly accepted by Happy Camper RV Repair in writing. Arrival windows, parts dates, and completion dates are good-faith estimates, not guarantees, and may change because of weather, travel conditions, emergencies, illness, prior jobs, parts delays, unsafe conditions, access problems, customer changes, or circumstances beyond reasonable control. Such delays are not abandonment or breach.

4. ACCESS, CANCELLATION, INTERRUPTION, AND CUSTOMER-CAUSED STOPPAGE

Customer must provide safe, lawful, and timely access; identify the correct RV; secure occupants, pets, valuables, and personal property; provide available utilities reasonably needed for testing; and disclose known damage, modifications, prior repairs, hazards, and failures. If Customer cancels, postpones without reasonable notice, denies or delays access, directs Happy Camper RV Repair to stop or not return, hires or permits another person to alter the affected work, interferes with performance, fails to provide required approval or information, or otherwise prevents or materially delays completion, the job may be closed or suspended. All service-call fees, diagnostics, labor, parts, materials, special orders, travel, reserved time, restocking charges, return-trip costs, and other expenses incurred or committed through that date become immediately due, whether or not the overall project is complete. Less than 24 hours' notice may result in applicable call-out, mileage, reserved-time, and documented loss charges.

5. PARTS AND DEPOSITS

Deposits are applied to the final invoice but become nonrefundable to the extent parts are ordered, labor is performed, time is reserved, or costs are incurred. Special-order, electrical, installed, opened, altered, or nonreturnable items are nonrefundable except as required by law. Manufacturer warranties are controlled by the manufacturer. Customer-supplied, used, salvaged, or requested substitute parts carry no Happy Camper RV Repair parts warranty unless Happy Camper RV Repair expressly agrees otherwise in writing. Additional labor caused by fitment, condition, defects, missing components, removal, reinstallation, or warranty processing is chargeable. Removal of an installed part does not cancel charges already earned.

6. PAYMENT, DISPUTES, AND COLLECTION

Payment is due immediately upon the earliest of: substantial completion of authorized work; Customer-directed stoppage, cancellation, denial of access, or prevention of completion; or delivery of an invoice for charges already incurred, unless Happy Camper RV Repair approves different terms in writing. Customer may not withhold undisputed amounts because another item is questioned. A chargeback, stopped payment, or payment-platform dispute does not eliminate the underlying debt. Past-due balances may accrue a late charge equal to the lesser of 1.5% per month or the maximum lawful rate beginning 30 days after the due date. Customer is responsible for reasonable collection costs, court costs, and attorney's fees to the extent recoverable by law. Happy Camper RV Repair may pursue any lawful possessory, statutory, lien, or collection remedy when applicable. Acceptance of partial payment does not waive the remaining balance unless expressly agreed in writing.

7. LIMITED WORKMANSHIP WARRANTY; NOTICE AND OPPORTUNITY TO CURE

Happy Camper RV Repair warrants its workmanship for 30 days from substantial completion of the specific service. The warranty applies only to work performed by Happy Camper RV Repair and only after the related invoice is paid in full. Customer must promptly give written notice describing the claimed defect, preserve the condition, and provide safe access and a reasonable opportunity to inspect and, if covered, correct the workmanship. The exclusive warranty remedy is re-performance of covered workmanship. Except for reasonable emergency safety measures, no refund, replacement, backcharge, withholding, or third-party repair cost is owed unless Happy Camper RV Repair first agrees in writing or fails to correct covered workmanship after a reasonable opportunity. A third-party claim should include a dated written report, photographs, test results, and an itemized estimate from a qualified RV technician. A return visit is warranty service only to the extent the reported condition is determined to result from covered workmanship.

8. WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS, NON-COVERED RETURN VISITS, AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The workmanship warranty does not cover manufacturer defects; normal wear; maintenance items; cosmetic variations; customer-supplied, used, or substitute parts unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing; pre-existing, hidden, concealed, intermittent, new, subsequent, or unrelated conditions or component failures; water intrusion outside the repaired scope; structural movement; customer misuse, abuse, tampering, disassembly, improper reconnection, incorrect operation, overloading, lack of maintenance, or unauthorized modification; or work altered or affected by Customer or a third party. The warranty also excludes improper campground, RV park, pedestal, shore-power, generator, inverter, electrical, water, or other utility supply or hookup, including low or high voltage, voltage drop, surges, reversed polarity, open neutral or ground, undersized wiring, overloaded circuits, or incorrect connections. It further excludes road, vibration, movement, impact, pest, freeze, storm, heat, or environmental damage, and any damage or failure occurring after the repaired system or component was tested or demonstrated as operational or after Happy Camper RV Repair departed. Third-party work voids coverage only to the extent it prevents inspection or causes, changes, or contributes to the claimed condition. If an inspection or return visit determines that the condition is excluded or is not caused by covered workmanship, the visit is a new, separately chargeable service call. Customer will owe the then-current call-out/service-call fee, mileage/travel, diagnostic time, labor, parts, materials, after-hours/emergency charges, and applicable taxes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Happy Camper RV Repair is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, or special damages, including loss of use, trip interruption, towing, lodging, substitute housing, lost income, lost profits, spoiled contents, or business interruption. To the fullest extent permitted by law, total liability is limited to the amount actually paid for the specific disputed service. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law, including liability finally determined to result from gross negligence or willful misconduct. Nothing in these Terms waives a nonwaivable consumer right.

9. RECORDS, GOVERNING LAW, AND ENTIRE AGREEMENT

Customer authorizes reasonable photographs, video, measurements, diagnostic readings, and service notes for documentation, safety, warranty, payment, insurance, or legal purposes; marketing use requires separate permission. Texts, emails, approvals, photographs, estimates, work orders, invoices, payments, and service notes may be retained as business records and may evidence authorization, scope, completion, and amounts due. Texas law governs. Any lawsuit shall be brought in Scurry County, Texas, when permitted by law. If a provision is invalid, it will be limited only as necessary and the remainder will remain effective. These Terms, the estimate, work order, approved communications, change approvals, and invoice form the service agreement. A conflicting change is effective only if Happy Camper RV Repair agrees in writing.

10. ACKNOWLEDGMENT

CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGES RECEIPT OF THESE TERMS, HAS HAD AN OPPORTUNITY TO REVIEW THEM, AUTHORIZES THE REQUESTED SERVICE, AND AGREES TO PAY THE CHARGES DESCRIBED ABOVE.
